Gargage Heaters
There are two types of heating systems used in garage heaters:
- Radiant-heat - Radiant tube heating systems consists of “radiant energy” being emitted from a heat source. The heat energy is emitted from a warm element and warms people and objects in rooms rather than directly heating the air. This type of system can substantially lower your fuel bills while increasing your level of comfort. With high radiant heat efficiency, durability and reliability, a low maintenance heating system steadily warms your space.
- Forced-air – a forced-air heating system is one which uses air as its heat transfer medium. These systems use ductwork and vents as a means of air distribution. Forced air systems are available in natural gas or propane models. They are typically low profile which makes for easy installation and service. Forced air heating is probably the most commonly installed in North America.
